How to celebrate in Duan Wu?

On the 5th day of the 5th lunar month, the Duan Wu Jie Date also called Dragon Boat Festival, people eat zongzi and watch the dragon-boat race. Wormwood and calamus are hanged on the windows and doors to avoid diseases and bad luck.

A dragon boat is a human-powered watercraft originating from the Pearl River Delta region of China's southern Guangdong Province. These were made of teak, but in other parts of China different kinds of wood are used.
